ADMINISTRATION
Dr. Mickey L. Walters founded Faith Outreach Christian School in 1984. In 1989 the school name was changed to Faith Outreach Academy. Dr. Walters attended Moody Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology. She later received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from IBI. She received her MA in Christian Counseling from Whitfield Theological Seminary in 1990 and also an MA in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Faith Theological Seminary. Dr. Walters is a member of the National Christian Counselors Association and is ordained with the National Christian Conservative Church and Faith Outreach Center.
Mrs. Julie A. Sierra was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1983. She also attended Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College and received a Bachelor of Theology in 1995 and her Master of Christian Education in 1997. Mrs. Sierra is currently working on her doctorate degree in Christian Education. Mrs. Sierra has worked at Faith Outreach Academy since 1996, the first four of these years as a fifth grade teacher and the remaining years as the principal. She also works with the middle school and high school students when needed.
Mrs. Tammie J. Miskiel was born in Tampa, Florida. She is a graduate from Leto High School. She received her Bachelor of Christian Education Degree from Faith Theological Seminary & Christian College. Mrs. Miskiel has worked at Faith Outreach Academy since 2001 and is currently one of the Assistant Principals, the Financial/Office Manager, and she will also be counseling the young ladies of Faith Outreach Academy.
Mr. Howard began teaching at FOA in 2010 working with the middle school and high school students teaching Math, Bible, Science, and Sign Language. Mr. Howard has two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Criminal Justice from USF as well a Bachelor's of Christian Education Degree from Faith Theological Seminary and Christian College. Mr. Howard is one of the Assistant Principals of Faith Outreach Academy.

OFFICE STAFF
Mrs. Calderon joined the FOA team in 2015 as an administrative assistant. She has a great passion for helping others and loves being a part of helping to serve the students of our school
Ms. Joy began working at FOA in 2014 in the P.E. department. This year we are happy to have Ms. Joy working in the academy office.
Ms. Santos started working with FOA in 2017 as a lunchroom aide and now as an administrative assistant. She is interested in furthering her education in Christian Studies.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Mrs. Jackson has taught preschoolers for over 19 years. She has taught at FOA for over 9 years. During this time, she has worked as a K3 teacher, K3/K4 teacher, Aftercare teacher, manager of the Summer Program, and teacher in charge of the Elementary Building. Mrs. Jackson has an ECA (Early Childhood Associate), which is equivalent to a CDA in childhood education.
Mrs. Christy Simoni started working at Faith Outreach Academy in 2018 as our Kindergarten Teacher. She graduated from University of South Florida in 1987 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Science Education. She also has her Florida Teaching Certificate for K - 6 Elementary Education. Mrs. Simoni has over six years of teaching experience. She has a passion for teaching kindergarten students and helping them to be successful.
Mrs. Santos has taught at FOA since 2006 as our second grade teacher. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Santos has been teaching since 1976 in Puerto Rico, New York and Florida. Mrs. Santos also has been the co-director of some of our Christmas dramas, as well as various other programs.
Mrs. Heather Flaschenriem graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has taught 1st through 5th grades and has been teaching elementary students since the year 2000. Mrs. Flaschenriem has taught third grade at FOA since 2014.
Mrs. Paleveda has taught at FOA since 2005. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade and more recently fourth grade for us. She has been teaching since 1995. Mrs. Paleveda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Tampa College in 1990 and her degree in Elementary Education from U.S.F. in 1997. She is returning this year as the fourth grade teacher.
Ms. Christine DiRobbio is originally from Rhode Island. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 2006 with a B.A. in Spanish and a Minor in Communications. Ms. DiRobbio moved to Florida in 2008 and currently lives in Spring Hill. She has been teaching for over four years. Ms. DiRobbio has taught fifth grade at FOA since 2015.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL
Mrs. Elliot was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She attended John Jay College in New York City and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She also received a Master of Science Degree in Education and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling from Capella University in 2012. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Counseling from the Christian Leadership University. She moved to Florida in 2007. Mrs. Elliot has been teaching since 2005.
Ms. Rodriguez has taught at FOA since 2003. She began as our 5th grade teacher and has taught 4th – 12th grades, as well as being the co-director of our Christmas dramas and other programs. Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Special Education. Ms. Rodriguez has been teaching students for over 26 years. Ms. Rodriguez will be teaching middle school English, Social Studies and High School Spanish this year.
Coach Nick says there are two things in this world he loves more than virtually anything; sports and the Bible. Coach Nick was born again when he was seven years old and he grew up in the church. On a mission trip to the inner cities of New Orleans, LA, Nick was called into full time ministry. He is now a licensed minister and has earned a diploma of theology from FTSCC. While he continues to pursue further degrees, Nick is inspired by heroes of the faith, like Ravi Zacharias, Billy Graham, Josh McDowell, and his own mentor, Pastor Bobby Patton. He is so excited to help FOA students grow deeper in God’s Word.
Mrs Raffy began working at Faith Outreach Academy in 2017 teaching high school science. Mrs. Raffy started her teaching career in 2008 when she joined the US Peace Corps as an education volunteer. She has taught biology, chemistry, earth science and computers to high schools students in Ghana for 2 years. After returning to the USA, Mrs. Raffy attended graduate school at Indiana University and earned her master's degree in environmental science. Mrs. Raffy also enjoyed her time as an environmental educator and animal handler at Michigan Howell Nature Center for 4 years.
E.S.E. DEPARTMENT
Ms. Woodward has been our lead teacher for our ESE Department since 2012 and works with the elementary school students. Ms. Woodward received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oakland University and her Master's Degree in Learning and Behavioral Disorders from Buffalo State College. She has many years of experience in teaching ESE, as well as kindergarten, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. She also volunteers in the Special Needs Department at Idlewild Baptist Church and as the Commanding Officer of the Suncoast Squadron, U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps for youth ages 10 -18 in Clearwater.
Mrs. Wilkie will be joining Ms. Benson in working with the middle school students in the ESE Department. Mrs. Wilkie received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Social Work, as well as her Master's Degree in Teaching from the University of South Florida. She has previous teaching experience with second, fifth, and sixth grades.
ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT
Faith Outreach Academy AD, Nick Segallos, has the unique experience of growing up and being heavily involved in athletics at a Christian school from his kindergarten years all the way up through his graduation, attending Tampa Baptist Academy for 13 years. Upon graduation in 2002, he began coaching there, and has been coaching in some capacity ever since, while also amassing experience in bank management as well as sales management. He is often heard telling whoever will listen that this is his “dream job.” Just ask him some time how long he plans on working here. He always answers the same way. “Forever.”
Coach Tori has a degree in Physical Education and Communications from Boise State Unversity. Coach Tori is a former FIBA and NCAA Division I player. She was a member of the Bulgarian Jr. and Women's National teams since the age of 13. Coach Tori has made numerous appearances at Final Four World and European Championships. She is a bronze medalist from the Goodwill Games 1990. Coach Tori is a former Athletic director and has coached Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football, Baseball, and Soccer.
FOOD SERVICE
Ms. Jean has been connected with Faith Outreach Center since its founding. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and has a passion for serving. Ms. Jean has five children and 14 grandchildren. She will be returning to FOA this year as our food preparation specialist.
AFTERCARE

Mr. Anthony began working at FOA in 2014. Mr Anthony does an amazing job of making sure that everything is in order at FOA and FOC.
