Ms. Rodriguez

Middle School- English, 9th Grade English & Drama Class

Ms. Rodriguez has taught at FOA since 2003. She began as our 5th grade teacher and has taught 4th – 12th grades, as well as being the co-director of our Christmas dramas and other programs. Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Special Education. Ms. Rodriguez has been teaching students for over 26 years. Ms. Rodriguez is teaching Middle School English, 9th grade Fine Arts, High School Spanish I and 8th grade Career Class.

Dr. Elliot

HS English, School Counselor

Dr. Elliot returned to FOA in 2024. She previously worked at FOA for seven years teaching both middle and high school students. This year she is teaching high school English and Spanish II. Dr. Elliot has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She has her doctorate in Christian Counseling from Christian Leadership University and an Addiction Counseling Graduate Certificate from Capella University. Dr. Elliot helps the high school students to get prepared for college.
